Women in Practice (12–2 pm EDT)

First Saturdays, 12 pm – 2 pm EST

Women practitioners share a distinct experience of spiritual practice, and this experience can’t help but shape our understanding of ourselves and the world. Together we want to acknowledge, investigate, and highlight the many facets of this experience, the obstacles that may get in the way of our practice, and the many opportunities for liberation unique to us.

This peer-led group meets for two hours on the first Saturday of the month. We begin with thirty minutes of zazen and then take turns facilitating, bringing short readings to use as springboards for our discussion. Because many of us are Buddhist practitioners, much of the language we use around practice revolves around its teachings, but all women practitioners are warmly welcome. If you’d like to be added to the Google Group where we share topics, readings, and schedule changes, please contact Zuisei.

There is no cost for this program. We look forward to practicing with you.
